ABOUT OUR CLASSES AT eudlo state school

We are excited to bring the joy of dance to our a new mobile location, Eudlo State School. Our unique mobile program aims to assist busy parents and provide a convenient (and fun) after school activity for your child. There is no need to worry about additional pick-ups and drop offs or fitting in too many activities into a Saturday morning with these energetic weekday classes. We currently have classes available for Prep - Grade 6 students.

CLASSES ON OFFER

  • If your child is constantly cart-wheeling, doing tumbles and handstands then this is the class for them! With a focus on strength and stretch as well as floor acrobatics, this dance style will suit those with explosive amounts of energy. Acrobatics will teach your children a variety of skills including cartwheels, back arches, splits and handstands. This could eventually include more difficult skills including walkovers, round offs, hand springs, tumbling and aerials. A combination of solo, group and partner work will be included.

  • Jazz dance is a dynamic and energetic dance style.

    Over the years, it has evolved to incorporate various elements from other dance styles like ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. Jazz dance often emphasizes sharp movements, high kicks, leaps, and turns, and can be performed to a wide range of music from traditional jazz to popular music of today.

  • A more freestyle form of dance, Hip Hop is an arena for dancers to incorporate their own style and flavour. With this in mind, there is still a focus on correct technique including body placement and alignment. This is complemented with our Hip Hop Teacher’s up to the minute choreography.

*FREE* After School Club Program!

We are thrilled to be offering an "after school club" at our Eudlo classes!

Our After School Club includes our Branch Manager meeting students in our designated dance space where students will be supervised before their class begins. Prep students will be greeted at their classrooms and supervised to the dance space (whilst they have a snack and get ready for class also).


To be eligible to take up this service, students need to be enrolled in either the first or second class on the timetable.


Students not participating in the first class will need to be able to undertake a quiet activity (like homework or reading) whilst they are waiting.
Pick up location will be arranged & teachers will be wearing Dance Energy clothes and mark the names of students. Students waiting will be observed by the Class Assistant.

    It was fantastic to see you perform tonight. A great idea to incorporate your own dance group into the show and so good that your pupils could watch. I know Cayley really enjoyed seeing you dance… And us parents did too! 🙂 A big congrats to you and your team for putting together such an amazing concert. It’s obvious that so much time, effort and dedication has gone into it…exquisite costumes, a bit of drama to set the scene, the venue, great photos, not to mention all your choreography and the assistance given to us inexperienced mums showing us how to do the hair, make-up, etc (I was really nervous about that at first but it has been a great experience). So well organised from start to finish and an absolute delight to watch. Our family that came to watch with us tonight said that they thoroughly enjoyed it and they have been through many of their own children’s concerts.

    We can’t wait to see what next year holds in store. Cayley always looks forward to her lessons and knows exactly when they are, so I thought I’d better tell her that after the concert you’re having a holiday until after Christmas, then she’ll see you for dancing again. And she gave me her very sad face look and said “I’m going to miss Dancing Claire when she’s on holiday, Mum!”

    Well what a fantastic weekend of dance showcase, you should be so very proud of what you achieved this year the children loved it so much you are definitely there idol and deservingly so! We looked for you and your mum before we left to say a massive thankyou I don’t think we will see you now as we move to WA in Jan so a massive thankyou for such a great introduction into dance for Dior! As a dancer myself all my life it is now a dream come true to be a “dance mum” I aim to be as involved and passionate as you Jan! Thanks again and well done on a very successful first year onwards and upwards the sky is your limit! Go dance energy!!
