For us at Dance Energy, it’s all about the journey and not the outcome. We focus on a balance of recreational and competition streams to support all dancers and ensure their unique needs are met. Our team of dedicated and long-standing teachers are passionate about education and supported by a full-time administration team to ensure the best experience is delivered in every class.
We are a dance studio dedicated to helping busy parents find a healthy, creative and fun after school activity through movement, music and friends. At Dance Energy, we know that dance education is not all about the steps and technique. We create a culture of kindness and support for our students to grow and find their own passion and purpose in life. Our teachers are highly trained, passionate and knowledgeable with qualifications and top-level curriculum to back up their experience.
While we know that dance classes and programs play a huge role in what we do, it isn’t the only focus. From our Power Up mentor program that trains young teachers through to community outreach initiatives, we continue to break down barriers and educate young children on how to unleash their unique energy and potential into the world.

MEET CLAIRE O’SHEA
Owner & Principal
Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Claire began her dance journey at the age of three at a studio in Maroochydore, where she continued to learn for 17 years. She turned her passion and commitment for dance into a business founding Dance Energy Studios in 2013, which continues to grow and innovate every year.
